Legal Information
We collect and process personal data you provide to us (e.g., contact details, invoicing data, materials you upload) and technical data (e.g., IP address, cookies) to deliver audiovisual services, communicate with you, operate our website, and comply with legal obligations. This Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights. The processing is governed by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Contact & contract data: name, company, address, email, phone, invoicing details, contract records.
Project materials: images, footage, documents, and other materials you provide (you warrant you have rights to share).
Technical/usage data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, and cookies/analytics data.
Marketing data: where you opt in to newsletters or communications.
We process personal data for: (a) performing contracts and delivering services (performance of a contract); (b) legitimate business interests such as maintaining and improving our service, fraud prevention, and legitimate marketing (balancing test applied); and (c) consent where legally required (e.g., non-essential cookies, direct marketing). See Article 6 of the GDPR for legal bases.
We may share data with trusted subprocessors (freelancers, hosting providers, payment providers) to perform services. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA we rely on an adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Note: personal data transfers to Japan benefit from the EU–Japan adequacy arrangements and related agreements that facilitate lawful data flows between the EU and Japan.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected and to meet legal, tax or contractual obligations. Typical retention: enquiries and quotes - up to 2 years; client project files and invoicing - up to 7 years for accounting/tax compliance (or local statutory period); marketing opt-ins - until you unsubscribe.
Under the GDPR you have the right to: access, correct, erase (in limited circumstances), restrict processing, object to processing, data portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Belgian residents, the Data Protection Authority can be contacted (APD / GBA). Contact us first at hello@[your-domain].com and we will respond within statutory timeframes.
We use cookies and similar technologies. For non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising, tracking, social plugins) we rely on your prior consent. You can manage cookie preferences via our cookie settings. For important information on cookies and consent, see EU guidance on cookies and the ePrivacy framework.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data (access controls, secure storage, encrypted backups). While we take steps to protect your data, no system is entirely secure - in the unlikely event of a data breach, we will follow applicable breach-notification rules.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date will be revised and significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
